your favorite aesthetic?

whats your favorite theme or aesthetic? i personally like the punk aesthetic in general like the hardcore punk scenes through out the us in the 80s


or with the midwest emo scene in chicago in the late 90s with bands like braid,mineral, and joan or arc.

personally... i like vaporwave and synthwave etc, but i think more classic for me is like, usually modern buildings with lots of plants/ferns/foliage. lots of monochrome (or natural tones) with green, especially when the architecture is like, angled.

Wow what a blast from the past. I did not know that aesthetic had a name! Very fond memories of using technology around this time. Tech was still much a quirky thing where everything from the iPod to a laptop felt super high-tech. I definitely think the Aero aesthetic attracted a lot of people to technology considering the decade prior was all beige boxes, and low quality aluminum.

That's my favorite aesthetic. The UIs that used it were so good. Nowadays everything feel so flat and sterile...

i really like aesthetics with lots of clashing colors, like decora or scene. there's something about the over-the-top nature of it that really appeals to me. i also like mall goth and emo, so i guess i would say generally i like late 90s to early 2000s teenager alt aesthetics :]

I love goth and that 2003 aesthetic. I cant remember the name of the 2003 one I was talking about, but holy moly do I miss it. Everything was so bright, love me some bright green fields with a bright blue sky.
