Yesterlinks is a directory of almost 500 links to interesting and unique websites on the net!

It is open-source, so anyone can make a contribution to the repo (it's built with PHP/SQL so some knowledge of that would be required).

But what anyone can do is help us improve the database! You can submit links you find, or browse the database and report links that are broken or otherwise shouldn't be listed (once you click 'report' it will give you options to report for).

Finally, there is a special link that you can drag to your bookmark bar:

https://links.yesterweb.org/surf.php - every time you click this link from your bookmark bar, it will load a random website from the database. Great for when you're bored or don't know exactly what you want to see!

If you have any feedback on the project, any questions, ideas for new tags, you can post them here or in the Discord server in the #yesterweb-projects channel.

Aw fugg, Yesterlinks is makin me want to learn PHP... 500 links is a nice accomplishment, I don't know any other collection of links that has 500 of them, at least not made as recently as this one.

It's so interesting just to click and browse random links and enter these entire sites and communities you've never been to. It's like a nice reminder saying "there's more internet out there".

You totally should! It opens up so many options for things you can build!!

And yes definitely check out Cinni's oekaki board!! It's so great, I love it and always recommend it to artists.

I'm always on the hunt for more things to add to the database!

omg i miss when things like these were a thing! every bigger site had their own.. and at the end they started charging people to get on... and at the end it completely died off
