What interests you about the Yesterweb? For years I've been longing for the internet as it was when I was a teenager, and I'm so happy to find other people who feel the same (and oh my god there's a forum. I miss forums.) I love the emphasis on self-expression and creativity, on freedom.

What's your favorite thing to do online? Surfing and learning, chatting with friends (I use Discord like MSN messenger haha), watching videos, playing games.

I like video games + game development, computer & tech, niche internet communities, animation, art & writing (anything creatively inclined ig), experimental and industrial music, and earth science.
I've been off and on neocities and this is genuinely the place with the nicest people I've met on here, I really enjoy all aspects of it- especially the small feel and its focus on creativity, sharing knowledge and personalization that mainstream social media lacks.
Usually I play the sims 2/3/4 all day LOL but I really like surfing random webpages with my friends or looking at obscure youtube videos and seeing what strange things I can find. I also off and on work on my website but I've lacked the motivation to keep it going. Hoping I can find that spark again.

What interests you about the Yesterweb?: i come from an era of the internet where forums were commonplace. where they were basically the norm as far as making friends online went and participating in niche discussions. it's a shame that social media has ruined all of that, so i guess i yearn for a sort of return back to how things were.
